Enabling and disabling

Behaviour

The toggle in the list switches a template on or off instantly. A disabled template:

• disappears from every Create screen picker and live-apply field,
• keeps all of its settings, targeting and default status,
• comes back exactly as it was when re-enabled.

The switch flips immediately in the UI; publishing the change to Create screens completes in the background over a few seconds.

When to disable instead of delete

Seasonal processes, templates under review, or anything you might need again — disabling is reversible, deleting is not.
